MP Laxmi Prasad Poudel Demands Dress Code in Federal Parliament

Kathmandu. CPN UML MP Laxmi Prasad Poudel has demanded the implementation of a dress code to maintain the dignity of the Federal Parliament. Speaking in the zero hour of the House of Representatives meeting on Monday, MP Poudel objected to the Prime Minister and ministers also attending the parliamentary meeting wearing T-shirts.

MP Poudel demanded a ruling from the Speaker to stop the Prime Minister and ministers from entering the parliament wearing T-shirts. 'Let the cultural dress or national dress be made mandatory to maintain the dignity of the parliament. Let the Prime Minister and ministers be stopped from entering the parliament wearing T-shirts,' said MP Poudel.
