Health Minister Nisha Mehta Clarifies Dhalkebar Trauma Center Construction

Kathmandu. Health and Food Hygiene Minister Nisha Mehta has clarified that the construction process of the Dhalkebar Trauma Center will not be stopped. She stated that a trauma unit will be operated at the Provincial Hospital in Lahan for the time being as the construction of the new structure will take time to complete.

Responding in the House of Representatives on Monday, Minister Mehta said that the process for the construction of the Critical Care and Trauma Center in Dhalkebar has already begun. According to Minister Mehta, the government has simultaneously advanced immediate service and long-term infrastructure construction to end the compulsion of bringing citizens with serious injuries in accidents to Kathmandu for treatment.
