Kathmandu. An electronic voting machine developed and researched in Nepal for the past 12 years has officially received patent protection from the Government of Nepal.
The Candidate ID-Based Electronic Voting Machine, developed by two brothers from Nuwakot, Ram Prasad Rimal and Laxman Prasad Rimal, has been granted a patent registration certificate by the Department of Industry.
