Rare Total Solar Eclipse on August 12, 2026

Kathmandu. Today, August 12, 2026, a rare total solar eclipse is occurring. The full form of this eclipse will be visible from Greenland, Iceland, northern Russia, the Atlantic Ocean, Spain, and a small part of Portugal.

However, this celestial event will not be visible from most parts of South Asia and Asia, including Nepal.
