Youth Engagement In Disaster Management

The monsoon is the vital source of water for rice cultivation in Nepal. When the monsoon becomes active across the country, two contrasting scenarios emerge. First, it provides a significant boost to the agriculture-based national economy by supporting crop production and sustaining rural livelihoods. If its arrival is delayed it disrupts the entire agricultural cycle, reduces crop production and ultimately leaves many people facing year-round food insufficiency.
