Anthropic Adds Invisible Watermarks to Claude AI Content to Help Identify AI-Generated Material

Kathmandu. Anthropic has introduced an invisible machine-readable watermark for content generated by its Claude AI models to make AI-created material easier to identify.

The move comes as the European Union's AI Act introduces new transparency requirements for AI-generated content. Anthropic has signed the code of conduct on AI-generated content under Article 50(2) of the Act, a voluntary framework aimed at improving transparency and making AI-generated material easier to detect.
