Thailand Tightens Gun Control After Deadly School Shooting

Kathmandu. Following a fatal shooting incident at a school in recent days, the Thai government has decided to tighten regulations related to gun control. The government will temporarily halt the issuance of new gun purchase permits and will also review previously registered permit applications.

Last Friday, a 14-year-old teenager killed his grandparents at his home before opening fire at a school, resulting in the deaths of 6 others. The teenager then committed suicide by shooting himself.
