Stakeholders Call for Integrated Efforts to Manage Rising Vehicle Congestion

KATHMANDU. Stakeholders participating in the 'NIMA Mobility Dialogue' organized by the Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association (NAIMA) have stated that integrated efforts are necessary for expanding road infrastructure, using technology, scientific lane management, and improving public transportation to manage the increasing vehicle congestion within the country.

Their conclusion is that challenges have increased due to the rapid increase in the number of vehicles, while parking, road safety, and public transportation infrastructure have not developed.
