Renewable Energy Project Launched in Mustang to Promote Clean Energy in High Himalayan Regions

Mustang. 'Promoting Renewable Energy for Clean Heat in the Himalayas Project' has been started with the objective of promoting clean energy technology in the high Himalayan regions of Nepal. This project will be operated in the Gharapjhong Rural Municipality of Mustang.

The project will work with 65 local households and five institutions in Mustang. Its main objective is to identify, test, and promote clean energy technologies that can provide reliable energy instead of relying on traditional biomass fuel. This initiative is believed to contribute significantly to reducing environmental impact and enhancing the health, living standards, and climate resilience of Himalayan communities.
