Nepal Telecom Reports Significant Profit Growth in Q4 FY 2082/83

Kathmandu. Nepal Telecom has announced a significant increase in net profit by publishing the unaudited financial statement for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2082/83. The company has earned a net profit of NPR 8.86 billion 46 lakh during the review period. This amount is an increase of NPR 2.85 billion 79 lakh, or 47.58 percent, compared to the net profit of NPR 6.67 billion in the same period of the previous fiscal year.

According to the financial statement, the company's total operating income has reached NPR 34.95 billion 04 lakh by the fourth quarter of this fiscal year. While the total operating income in the same period of the previous fiscal year was NPR 33.89 billion 45 lakh, this year it has increased by NPR 1.05 billion 59 lakh, or 3.12 percent. Similarly, the company's total income has also increased by 2.65 percent from NPR 38.18 billion 81 lakh last year to NPR 39.19 billion 96 lakh.
