20 Commercial Banks Report Near 70 Billion NPR Profit in FY 2082/83

Kathmandu. The total net profit of 20 operating commercial banks has reached close to 70 billion rupees. According to the published financial statement for the fiscal year 2082/83, the banks have earned a total net profit of 69 billion 88 crore 61 lakh rupees.

This is a 32.32 percent increase compared to the previous fiscal year 2081/82. In the previous fiscal year, the total net profit of the banks was 52 billion 81 crore 75 lakh rupees.
