Pokhara Mayor Vows to Accelerate Major Development Projects

Pokhara. Pokhara Metropolitan City Mayor Dhanraj Acharya has announced to accelerate major development projects operating and proposed within the metropolis.

He informed that preparations are underway to bring important projects, initiated with the support of development partners, into the tender process by the first week of Bhadra. The projects being operated with the support of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), KOICA, and the World Bank are currently in various stages of implementation. Project offices for ADB's projects have already been operationalized at Alumail Chok and for KOICA at Shivalaya Chok. The Metropolitan's Urban Development and Infrastructure Division is leading other projects of the World Bank and ADB.
