Nepal Electricity Authority Celebrates 41st Anniversary Amidst Historical Power Journey

Kathmandu. As the Nepal Electricity Authority celebrates its 41st anniversary today, the history of the country's electricity development is linked to a journey of more than one hundred years.

The first chapter of modern Nepal's electricity journey began with the Pharping Hydropower Project. However, this historic project, which brought the country towards the light of electricity, is now becoming dilapidated due to lack of conservation.
