CPN (UML) Finalizes Three Ministries for Koshi Province Government Participation

Biratnagar. The Nepali Communist Party (CPN) which is in the final stage of participating in the Koshi Province government has finalized the three ministries it will receive. An agreement has been reached between CPN Parliamentary Party leader Indrabahadur Angbo and Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki regarding the three ministries. It has been finalized that the CPN will receive the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development, Ministry of Tourism, Forest and Environment, and Ministry of Social Development.

Similarly, the CPN has claimed the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law. UML has requested to take the Ministry of Industry, Agriculture and Cooperatives. Party leader Angbo stated that an agreement could not be reached on the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which they had demanded. An agreement was previously reached between the two parties for the CPN to receive 4 ministries.
