Kathmandu. Police have arrested two employees of Nepal Airlines Corporation from Tribhuvan International Airport. Those arrested are Janani Bajracharya, 54, residing in Kathmandu-26, and Mamata Pandey, 35, residing in Gorkha Municipality-3. They were arrested on Sunday evening, SP Rajkumar Silwal of the Airport Security Office told Ratopati. They were found to be carrying more foreign currency than prescribed when they were about to travel to Malaysia. According to Nepal Rastra Bank's criteria, carrying more than 5 thousand dollars in foreign currency is not allowed. Police recovered 12,372 Malaysian Ringgit and 4,300 US Dollars from Bajracharya. Police recovered 4200 US Dollars and 12,328 Ringgit from Pandey.
