Kathmandu. The Federal Parliament Secretariat has clarified that the housing facilities received by the office-bearers and members of the parliament are in accordance with the prevailing laws. The secretariat has issued this clarification drawing attention to the comments made in the media in recent days regarding the housing facilities of the MPs.

A press release issued by the spokesperson and joint secretary of the secretariat, Ekram Giri, cited the provisions of the 'Act Relating to Salary and Facilities of Office-bearers and Members of the Federal Parliament, 2073'.
