Supreme Court Grants Priority Hearing to Conflict Victims' Rights Case

Kathmandu. The Supreme Court has granted 'priority' to a writ petition concerning serious issues such as the livelihood, free health treatment, and employment of conflict victims.

In the case filed by advocate Kumar Prasad Thapaliya on behalf of Purnaprasad Poudel, with the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers as the respondent, a joint bench of Justices Kumar Regmi and Sunil Kumar Pokharel has ordered that the case of conflict victims be presented for full hearing and kept as a priority.
