Opposition Criticizes Government Over Minister's Luxury vs. Public Hardship

Kathmandu. The main opposition party Nepali Congress has criticized the government, saying it is only focused on the service and facilities and luxuries of ministers even when the public cannot get ordinary paracetamol and treatment.

In Tuesday's House of Representatives meeting, Congress Chief Whip Basana Thapa questioned the government's style of functioning, stating that people in remote areas are not getting relief and medicine, but when ministers fall ill, millions of rupees of state funds are spent to charter helicopters.
