Two Students Dead in Zamboanga Shooting Incident

Zamboanga. Two students died in a shooting incident in the southern Philippine city of Zamboanga on Tuesday. Officials said the shooter was also among the deceased. No further injuries have been reported and the situation has been brought under control.

According to the police, a ninth-grade student associated with a private school affiliated with Ateneo de Zamboanga University opened fire in the classroom with a pistol and a rifle. He shot and killed a male student from the grade above him and then committed suicide.
