MP Pant Highlights Public Hardship Due to Local Government Neglect

Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) MP Buddhiprasad Pant has stated that the general public has to face great hardship even in normal problems due to the neglect of local levels. Speaking in the House of Representatives meeting on Tuesday, Pant drew the government's attention to the compulsion of MPs to watch helplessly due to lack of resources.

He said, 'When we go to the constituencies, the public shows us various problems and hopes for solutions, which is also justified. However, even problems that local governments could solve immediately by mobilizing minimal budget and manpower are left in limbo.'
