Old power infrastructure causing frequent outages: Energy Minister

Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Biraj Bhakta Shrestha has said frequent power outages in Nepal are occurring because the country’s electricity infrastructure is old and unable to handle the increasing load.
