KP Sharma Oli's Remarks Spark Internal Conflict Within UML Party

Kathmandu. Amidst discussions of party restructuring, a 'cyber war' has erupted within the UML after party chairman KP Sharma Oli insultingly referred to leaders and cadres as 'vagrants, lice, and grasshoppers'.

Chairman Oli had recently visited Ilam and Jhapa and called leaders and cadres who were active in favor of party restructuring as vagrants, lice, and grasshoppers. During that time, Oli claimed that the party would not be restructured but would be rejuvenated, and that attempts to remove him from the post of chairman would not succeed. He also announced that he would not give up his post.
