Energy Minister Shrestha pledges to ensure effectiveness of power supply

Kathmandu, Aug 18: Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Biraj Bhakta Shrestha has expressed the commitment that the ministry would take effective measures to ensure regular supply of quality energy for domestic consumers.

Responding to the queries raised in today’s meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR), Minister Shrestha informed that the task of expanding smart meters and substation automation system has gained momentum in the Kathmandu Valley and major cities.
