Karnali Province Chief Minister to seek vote of confidence today

Surkhet. The Karnali Provincial Assembly meeting is being held today. The agenda includes the Chief Minister Mangal Bahadur Shahi seeking a vote of confidence in the meeting. Chief Minister Shahi had already registered a letter regarding this in the house on Monday. Shahi was appointed Chief Minister on July 28, with the support of the CPN (UML). The cabinet has not been expanded due to some delay in the distribution of ministries between the two parties. Chief Minister Shahi informed that the cabinet will be expanded after taking a vote of confidence from the house. In the 40-member provincial assembly, there are 14 members from the Nepali Communist Party (NCP) and 10 from the UML.
