Government Calls for Nominations for Human Rights Award

Kathmandu. The government has called for nominations of eligible individuals and organizations for this year's 'Human Rights Award'. The Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs issued a notice on Sunday calling for nominations of one individual and one organization that have made significant contributions to the protection and promotion of human rights.

The Government of Nepal presents this award every year on the occasion of International Human Rights Day. The ministry stated that any individual or organization can nominate a deserving person or organization for the award.
