New Joint Program Launched in Nepal to Strengthen Health Services and Combat Gender-Based Violence with $6 Million US Dollars Commitment

Kathmandu. A new joint program has been launched in Nepal with a commitment of 6 million US dollars to strengthen health services and combat gender-based violence.

With the financial support of the Royal Norwegian Embassy and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), UNFPA and the World Health Organization have initiated this effort with the aim of promoting the rights, health, and well-being of women, girls, adolescents, and marginalized communities.
