Puma Community Homestay Welcomes Guests with Kirat Traditions

Khotang. A maiden adorned in Kirat attire. Holding a plate and a bouquet of flowers, she stands at the entrance. When a guest approaches her, she welcomes them by offering the bouquet of flowers, performing the ritual of 'Sevadog' according to Kirat customs.

This is a brief description of the tradition of welcoming guests at the 'Puma Community Homestay' operated by the Puma Rai community in Diplung, Jantevunga Rural Municipality-6. Eleven houses of Puma Rai in Nigalawas, Diplung, have jointly operated the 'Puma Community Homestay' since January 15, 2081 BS.
