Weather Forecast: Monsoon Influence Across Nepal with Scattered Showers and Thunderstorms

Kathmandu. Currently, the monsoon wind's influence is present across the country, the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology informed. The monsoon low-pressure line is currently around its average position.

Due to this, most of the hilly regions of the country are generally cloudy. The Terai region of Sudurpaschim Province is generally cloudy, while the Terai regions of Madhesh Province, and Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces are partly cloudy. Light to moderate rain is occurring in some places in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces, and in one or two places in the Terai region of Sudurpaschim Province.
