Bangladesh Ambassador Proposes Annual Cultural and Creative Exchange Programme with Nepal

KATHMANDU: Bangladesh Ambassador to Nepal H.E. Md. Shafiqur Rahman has proposed establishing an annual Bangladesh–Nepal Cultural and Creative Exchange Programme to further strengthen cultural ties and people-to-people relations between the two countries.

Speaking at the inauguration of the “Beautiful Bangladesh” International Photo Exhibition 2026 at Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ambassador Rahman said the proposed programme could bring together photographers, filmmakers, musicians, artists, writers and other cultural practitioners from both countries.
