MP Amresh Kumar Singh Urges Commission for Independence and Dignity

Kathmandu. National Independent Party (NSP) MP Amaresh Kumar Singh has urged for the protection of the independence and dignity of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA).

Speaking at a meeting of the State Management and Good Governance Committee, MP Singh argued that while it is natural for the parliamentary committee to be an oversight body and for them to come here, they should not go as if they are under the command of the Prime Minister or ministers just because they are summoned.
