Crude Oil Prices Rise on Global Market Following US Sanctions Threat

Kathmandu. Crude oil prices have increased in the global market on Thursday. US President Donald Trump had warned on Wednesday of advancing "devastating economic sanctions" against Iran.

With his threat, the price of Brent Crude Futures, considered the main benchmark for crude oil in the global market, rose by 2.4 percent to about $94 per barrel by Thursday morning, according to Eastern US time.
