Resham Chaudhary's Amnesty Case Set for Supreme Court Hearing

Kathmandu. The hearing on the writ petition against the then government's decision to grant amnesty to Resham Chaudhary, who was convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment by all three levels of courts in the Tikapur massacre case, has been scheduled.

The case has been scheduled for a joint bench of Supreme Court Justices Hariprasad Phuyal and Nripadhwaj Niroula. The writ against Resham's amnesty, which has not been heard for two and a half years, has been scheduled for hearing with priority.
