US Army Disbands European Drone Warfare Unit

Washington D.C. The US Army has decided to disband a special unit working on drone warfare technology in Europe. For about a year, this unit has been developing, deploying, and using drone-based combat strategies. Now it has been instructed to operate as a traditional airborne infantry battalion.

This unit is part of the 173rd Airborne Brigade stationed in Italy and Germany. Last November, a battalion of about 600 soldiers was specially designed for drone warfare. Its goal was to develop technologies and strategies that could be used in any battlefield if needed.
