Three Students Die in Hetauda Flood, City Declares Day of Mourning

Hetauda. A day of mourning will be observed to express grief over the incident in which three students died when washed away by the Basudev Khola in Hetauda-19, Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City. The Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City's executive meeting has decided to observe a day of mourning in ward no. 19 of Hetauda.

The meeting has decided to bear the expenses related to the funeral rites and cremation of the deceased students, bear the expenses related to the treatment and education of the student rescued from the river, and construct a culvert to prevent the risk from Basudev Khola. It has been decided to develop a park by establishing a half-body statue of the deceased student at an appropriate place.
