Origin of the Days of the Week Explained by Planetary Orbits

It is an accepted fact in spiritual and physical science that our solar system has 9 planets: Venus, Mercury, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. It is also accepted that all these planets revolve around the Sun. Modern science does not consider the Moon a planet, but Eastern spiritual science considers the Moon a planet.

When viewed from Earth with the naked eye at the right time, the Sun, Venus, Mercury, Moon, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn can be seen. However, due to their distance, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto cannot be seen with the naked eye. Thus, the number of planets visible to the naked eye in the solar system is 7. It is said that the week has 7 days based on this. This has been adopted worldwide and continues to this day.
