Agro products worth over Rs 24 b imported from Eastern border point

Jhapa, Aug 23: More than Rs 24 billion worth of agricultural products have been imported from Kakarbhitta in the last fiscal year.

According to the head of Plant Quarantine Office Kakarbhitta, Nand Kishore Singh, agricultural products worth Rs24.2674 billion, including cereals, pulses, fresh vegetables and fruits, have entered Nepal from India, China, Australia and Bangladesh in 2025/26.
