Discontent in Lumbini Province Government Over Ministerial Appointments

Butwal. Internal dissatisfaction has flared up within the ruling NCP over the names of ministers participating in the Lumbini Province government. The NCP is preparing to send its ministers to the provincial government after Chief Minister of CPN-UML, Chetanarayan Acharya, takes a vote of confidence on Bhadra 1, as per the agreement reached at the center.

After the names of three ministers were recommended from the NCP, the former CPN-MC and former CPN (Unified Socialist) provincial assembly members who merged into the NCP became dissatisfied. They accuse the provincial leadership of making unilateral decisions in the government expansion.
