Three Newborns Die in Amravati Hospital Fire

Mumbai. Three newborns died in a fire at the NICU of a women's hospital in Amravati district of Maharashtra, India, around 3:30 AM on Monday.

The incident occurred on the third floor of the hospital, where smoke spread rapidly after the fire. When the fire broke out, 39 newborns were admitted to the NICU. As soon as the fire broke out, doctors, nurses, and hospital staff started rescue operations and safely brought many children out.
