Kathmandu. A significant number of amendment proposals have been submitted to the 'Mining and Minerals Bill' and 'Passport (First Amendment) Bill' that have moved forward in the House of Representatives under the Federal Parliament. According to the Parliament Secretariat, 35 amendment proposals have been registered for the Mining and Minerals Bill and 17 for the Passport (First Amendment) Bill 2083. The Secretariat has stated that it is currently in the process of separating and consolidating whether these proposals are individual or group-based. Jayaram Khadka, Section Officer working at the Bill Branch (House of Representatives) of the Federal Parliament Secretariat, informed that it will take some time for the registered amendments to be approved and complete the process.
