HoR session: Lawmakers call for stricter legal measures for ending VAW

Kathmandu, Aug 24: Lawmakers have drawn the government’s attention to making the legal system stricter and ensuring harsh punishment for offenders to end violence against women.

Seeking time from the Speaker in the House of Representatives meeting today, they said that such arrangements had become unavoidable due to the increasing incidents of violence.
