Police Constable Detained Over Leak of Accused’s Video in Garima Chaudhary Case

Kathmandu. The Bara District Police Office has detained a police constable suspected of leaking a confidential video containing the statement of the accused in the rape and murder of three-year-old Garima Chaudhary.

Police said the constable was taken into custody after the video, recorded during the investigation, began circulating widely on social media from Monday morning. An internal investigation has also been launched to determine how the sensitive footage was leaked and who was involved.
