Surkhet. The dispute within the ruling Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) in Karnali is now to be resolved by the party headquarters. The center has been approached for help after difficulties arose in selecting three ministers. Chief Minister Mangal Bahadur Shahi, who is also the leader of the CPN parliamentary party, had sought time for a swearing-in ceremony at the Provincial Chief's office at 11 AM on Monday. Accordingly, the Provincial Chief's office had informed all concerned to be present at the swearing-in ceremony at 11 AM. Chief Minister Shahi could not recommend the names of the individuals to be appointed even by 10 AM. Later, Chief Minister Shahi suddenly went to the Provincial Chief's office and requested to postpone the program. 'The party has not agreed, it has to be postponed for a few days,' Chief Minister Shahi told Provincial Chief Yagyaraj Joshi. The exact time for the swearing-in ceremony has not been set. There was talk within the CPN that Bindaman Bisht, Jumkit Lama, and Milan Khadka would take the oath as ministers on Monday. According to sources, the MPs who were to become ministers were ready for the oath, but it was stopped.
