Garment Factory Fire in Tokha Causes Estimated 8 Crore Loss

Kathmandu. A fierce fire has broken out in a garment industry located in Basundhara, Tokha Municipality-5, Kathmandu. It is estimated that property worth approximately 8 crore rupees has been burnt and destroyed due to a fire that suddenly erupted due to an electric short circuit at Siddhababa Uniform Enterprises in Basundhara.

The fire suddenly erupted in the industry at around 2:52 AM on Wednesday. As the fire that started at midnight took a fierce form in no time, a large number of security personnel and fire engines were mobilized to control it.
