Digital Information Board Installed at Manakamana to Promote Gorkha Tourism

GORKHA. A digital information board has been installed in the Manakamana complex with the objective of creating an environment for tourists coming to Manakamana, a famous religious and tourist destination, to reach Gorkha. The Gorkha Chamber of Commerce and Industry has installed the digital board in the Manakamana temple area. “Millions of devotees, domestic and foreign tourists come to Manakamana temple. If Gorkha is promoted, tourists will reach tourist destinations in Gorkha and tourism will be promoted, so an informative signboard has been placed in the temple premises,” said the association’s president Bhagwanbabu Maske. “For now, audio-visual materials produced by Gorkha Municipality have been placed. We will add more.” Gorkha Municipality Mayor Krishna Rana Magar informed that audio-visual materials of tourist destinations within Gorkha Municipality as well as areas like Manaslu in the district, including Gorkha Durbar, Gorakhkali Temple, Bajrabharav, Gorkha Museum, Vishnupanchayan, Rani Pokhari, have been placed on the digital board. “Although the association has started it, the municipality will provide continuous support,” he said.
