Parliament Sessions Convene Today for Bill Discussions

Kathmandu. Both houses of the Federal Parliament, the House of Representatives and the National Assembly, are meeting today. According to the Parliament Secretariat, the meeting of the House of Representatives has been scheduled for 1:00 PM and the meeting of the National Assembly for 10:15 AM. The agenda for both parliamentary sessions includes the presentation of various bills and their referral to committees for clause-wise discussion.
In the meeting of the House of Representatives, which will be held in Singh Durbar, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Sobita Gautam will present the 'Nepal Law Commission (First Amendment) Bill, 2083'. Additionally, she will present the proposal 'Consider the Mediation (Second Amendment) Bill, 2083' and submit the agreement concerning the conservation and sustainable use of marine biodiversity in areas beyond national jurisdiction under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea. In the same meeting, Minister for Youth, Labour and Employment Ramji Yadav will present the proposal 'Refer the Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Bill, 2083 to the relevant committee for clause-wise discussion'.
