74 bird species recorded in Ilam’s highland areas

By Prem Adhikari, Ilam (Pashupatinagar), Aug. 25: The Thumke-Nayabazar-Jaubari area of Ilam is emerging as a new birdwatching destination in eastern Nepal, with its dense forests, cool mountain climate, mist-covered hills and rich diversity of rare and attractive bird species.
