Three-Tiered Waterfall Awaits Tourists in Okhaldhunga

Okhaldhunga. The three-tiered waterfall in Kakani, Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-9, Okhaldhunga, awaits tourists. Although there are three large and beautiful waterfalls within a distance of about 500 meters in the Kakani stream, the waterfalls have remained hidden due to lack of publicity.

The Kakani stream flowing through Kakani village turns into a waterfall upon reaching Kapalti cliff. The same stream has transformed into three waterfalls within a distance of about 500 meters. The first waterfall is near the village. Due to the construction of tourist infrastructure, this waterfall can be reached within a 10-minute walk from the village. Although the second waterfall is near the first waterfall, one has to take a winding route due to geographical difficulties. The second waterfall can be reached after walking downhill for about 20 minutes. Local Dil Bahadur Tamang says that this is the tallest waterfall of the Kakani stream.
