Invalid PAN Numbers on Bills Create Problems for Consumers Seeking Taxpayer Incentive Prizes

Kathmandu. The government’s Taxpayer Incentive Program has increased the number of consumers requesting VAT and PAN bills when making purchases. As consumers increasingly demand proper bills, businesses have also begun issuing them more regularly.

However, the rush to print bills has resulted in PAN numbers being incorrectly printed on some bills. Consumers have consequently reported receiving an “invalid PAN number” message when attempting to register their bills for the government’s taxpayer incentive program.
