Kathmandu Mayors' Forum to Meet PM on Waste Management Issues

Kathmandu. The problem of waste management in Kathmandu is once again at the forefront. The dispute that started after the exchange between the mayors of Kathmandu and Dhading MP Ashika Tamang at a program organized by the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport last Friday has now reached the stage of a 15-day ultimatum. This has caused a stir in the Mayors' Forum.

In that context, an emergency meeting of the Kathmandu Valley Mayors' Forum was held on Tuesday. The meeting decided to meet Prime Minister Balen Shah and draw his attention to the issue of waste management.
