Prime Minister Balen Shah Addresses Parliament on Bhote Koshi Flood

Kathmandu. Prime Minister Balen Shah has said that the flood in Bhote Koshi and the resulting loss of life and property is not just a shared calamity for Rasuwa, Dhading, and Nuwakot, but a shared tragedy for the entire Nepal. Prime Minister Shah said this while addressing a special session of the House of Representatives on Wednesday.

‘This is not just for Rasuwa, Dhading, and Nuwakot, but a shared calamity that has befallen the chest of the entire Nepal,’ Prime Minister Shah said at the beginning of his address, ‘Today I stand at the rostrum of this esteemed sovereign parliament with a special responsibility. On August 10, the flood in Bhote Koshi snatched away our mothers, sisters, and brothers in an instant.’
